Working in St. Luc

St. Luc is run by the “Lebensgemeinschaft” and is an integral part of the socio-therapeutical and pedagogical curative institution “La Branche” in Savigny, near Lausanne in Switzerland. Fifteen mentally handicapped people in need of constant close attention and care found a home in St. Luc, where the members of this community wish to establish a permanent relationship to them, out of a common inner commitment. This relationship is fostered by the daily and yearly rhythms, a wide variety of artistic activities, and the nurturing of the individual attention given to them.

St. Luc seeks to base its endeavours in everyday life and work in Anthroposophy. All who work with the handicapped live in St. Luc, where there are, among others, German, French, and English speaking people.
